About

Senior Pastor Leonard Cranfill and his wife Pam are the founders of Growing Branches for Christ. They originated this work in a storefront at 211 West 6th Street, here in Connersville. With a lot of work, they prepared an old run-down storefront along with help from good church people that God sent the Pastor’s way. They held their first service in 1996 on Easter Resurrection Sunday with 86 in attendance.

God has been equipping and staffing this work ever since. Everything that a church needs to effectively operate, God has provided for. The praise and Worship singers and instrument players had all been prayed over and set in motion.

God blessed Growing Branches for Christ Ministries with a newer facility in November of 1998. Located at 643 West 18th Street. This facility would seat around 200 people.

Then in 2003, we were blessed to be able to purchase the Old Holiday Inn here in Connersville. Part of the old facility was torn down and a new sanctuary has since replaced that part of the Holiday Inn. We can now seat 350 people. The congregation of the Growing Branches worked days and nights until the sanctuary was done. We had our first service at our new location in February of 2004. The very church you see now is a miracle blessing from God. As you look around the church, you will notice the trumpet of Zion, the horn the pastor blows before the start of every service.

The trumpet was given, to the pastor in a landmark message from God. That message and the horn have literally transformed the Growing Branches for Christ. It has and will continue to impact the Pastor and this work.

Senior Pastor Leonard Cranfill and his wife Pam invite and welcome you to come to worship the Lord with us here at the Growing Branches Ministry
